The point is bordered proximally by the 2nd and 3rd metatarsal bones and distally by the 2nd and 3rd cuneiform bones. Alternative location: Sometimes, this point may be located lateral to the medial portion of the extensor digitorum longus tendon (joining the 2nd toe). ST-42
