BL-61
 Location On the lateral aspect of the heel, 1.5 cun inferior to ➞ BL-60 (in the depression between the highest prominence of the lateral malleolus and the Achilles tendon), in a depression on the calcaneus. How to find First, locate ➞ BL-60 in the depression between the highest prominence of the lateral malleolus and the Achilles tendon. With oedema of the lower leg, the depression is not visible but palpable. From ➞ BL-60, measure 1.5 cun in a distal direction. There, locate BL-61 in a depression on the calcaneus, approximately on the midpoint of a line connecting the sole of the foot and ➞ BL-60.
