  Location 1 cun inferior to the umbilicus, 0.5 cun lateral to the anterior midline. How to find The distance between the centre of the umbilicus and the upper border of the pubic symphysis is divided into 5 proportional cun. As these can vary considerably from finger cun measurements, only proportional cun measurements should be applied (elastic tape ➞ 2.3.1). From the centre of the umbilicus, measure 1 cun in an inferior direction and on this level locate KID-15 0.5 cun lateral to the midline.
