Location
With the patient looking straight ahead, directly superior to the pupil and 0.5 cun superior to the anterior hairline.
How to find
First, locate the anterior hairline ( with hairloss: when the patient frowns, the anterior hairline is marked by the border between the creased forehead and the smooth skin above). With the patient looking straight ahead, G.B.-15 is located 0.5 cun superior to the anterior hairline and directly superior to the pupil. G.B.-15 can also be described as being located midway between ➞ Du-24 (on the midline) and ➞ ST-8 (4.5 cun lateral to the midline, on the corner of the forehead).
Located on the same level (0.5 cun within the anterior hairline) are ➞ Du-24/BL-3/BL-4/G.B.-13/ST-8 (on the midline/ superior to the inner canthus of the eye/1.5 cun lateral to the midline/3 cun lateral to the midline or one third of the distance from ➞ ST-8 (on the corner of the forehead) to ➞ Du-24.
