![]() Location 4 cun distal to the lateral end of the elbow crease in the direction of the anatomical snuffbox and on a line connecting ➞ L.I.-5 and ➞ L.I.-11. How to find Please note: In supination, the line connecting ➞ L.I.-5 and ➞ L.I.-11 runs along the radial margin of the forearm; in pronation, it transverses the forearm. L.I.-8 lies on the dorsal aspect of the radius and is best located with the forearm in midposition and the elbow flexed. L.I.-8 can be found either 4 cun distal to ➞ L.I.-11 or 2 cun proximal to the midpoint of the line connecting ➞ L.I.-5 and ➞ L.I.-11 (spreading hands technique, ➞ 2.3.3). ➞ T.B.-9 is 5 cun distal to the olecranon between the radius and the ulna, about 1 cun distal to L.I.-8 in the middle of the dorsal forearm.
