Location On the lateral aspect of the upper arm, 3 cun proximal to the lateral end of the elbow crease (➞ L.I.-11), in the direction of the head of the humerus. How to find This point is located on a line connecting ➞L.I.-11 (lateral end of the elbow crease) and ➞L.I.-15 (in a depression anterior and inferior to the acromion), on the lateral border of the biceps, in a groove between the biceps and the brachialis muscles. With the elbow flexed at 90°, measure 3 cun from ➞ L.I.-11 towards proximal. Ask the patient to flex their biceps. Needling Vertically 0.5–1 cun, alongside the anterior border of the humerus.
